Arturia minilab mk2 ableton setup10/31/2023 ![]() ![]() KVR actually has an Arturia support forum now too. Have you contacted support or posted on their forum. Actually wait, it's Arturia, maybe I'm not surprised. I hope there will be a fix or workaround soon! You can change the speed of the knobs but none of those settings fix this problem actually. I've tried everything with the given Midi Mapper software. At just over 12 inches wide and 8 inches deep, it's compact enough to sit comfortably on. They might have different schema / ranges for knob values. The Arturia MiniLab MkII was an easy choice to make as the best 25-key MIDI controller for most people. Looks like the Analog Labs software and Ableton doesn't really likes each other. ![]() This is happening ONLY when the Analog Labs software is running in VST mode. When you turn the knobs on the Arturia Hardware, the knobs will react super slow on the screen in the Analog Labs software. Hardware Device + Ableton Live + Analog Labs as VST: Keys, knobs are acting as it should be both on the hardware, both on the software. When you are using the hardware knobs to control other parameters in Ableton via instant mapping or midi mapping? Hardware Device + Analog Labs Software as Standalone:Įverything works fine. When you are using the hardware knobs to control the MiniLab software parameters? It sounds like you are talking about the knobs on the device, but you kep saying the VST. Are you talking about the VST or the hardware controls? ![]() Everything will become much simpler to understand afterwards.Glitchrock-buddha wrote:Wait you're post is confusing. ![]() The pads' leds will also fire up to represent the clip's state.įor starters, you should learn as much as possible about Ableton to get a decent understanding of the workflow. The 1st row of pads control the line of clips (also called a session) which is highlighted, and the 2nd row will control the next line. Since you have bought the controller, you have probably activated your free copy of Ableton Live Lite which is limited to only 8 tracks, so you don't have to worry about that. Keep in mind that the pads control only tracks 1-8. When a track is armed, triggering an empty clip will start recording and if you press the pad when the clip is recording, the recording will stop and playback will begin. This mode maps pads and encoders to specific Ableton controls the pads will trigger clips inside session view. It seems to me that you have seen someone use the Ableton Live mode on the Minilab Mk2, which is enabled when selecting the 8th bank (on the controller, press Shift + Pad8 ). ![]()
